Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGICX) is a research centre in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) established in 2013, aspires to create an environment that contributes toward research and development, knowledge-sharing, industry promotion, and collaboration on core and unified technology. MaGICX core technology focuses on immersive technology including virtual and augmented reality, 3D modelling, visualization, human computer interaction, gamification, and simulation. Meanwhile the unified technology including web mobile, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, internet-of-things, and data analytics.
To be the anchor for Games and Gamification industry & the nucleus for Iskandar Malaysia Innovation Valley.
